Sponsorship Eligibility & Requirements
To meet our requests for charitable funding & assistance, we have established the following eligibility and submission guidelines.
Sponsorship Philosophy:
Chocolate Bayou Credit Union will provide resources to charitable, educational, and civic outreach efforts that directly support the communities we serve.
Sponsorship Focus:
In order to be considered for funding, requests must fall into one of the following primary areas of focus:
- Financial literacy
- Education
- Community social programs
Preference will be given to requests that:
- Are located within our market areas
- Reflect the mission and values of Chocolate Bayou
- Are relevant to a majority of our membership
- Fulfill a recognized need and benefit the community at large
We will not consider funding any request for the following:
- Operating or administrative costs
- Any group that represents a conflict of interest for Chocolate Bayou
- The promotion of religious, legislative, or political beliefs
- Humanitarian projects outside our areas of operation
How To Apply:
All requests must be on an official Chocolate Bayou Credit Union Sponsorship Application. Applications must be made 30 days in advance of funding deadlines. Completed applications can be submitted:
